Greenix brand Polyurethane-core Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are the high performance building panels for floors, walls, and roofs for large tract residential and commercial projects. There are immediate beneficial features when specifying Greenix SIPs:
Greenix Panels are made using Polyurethane (PUR) foam insulation sandwiched between two structural skins of Oriented Strand Board (OSB), and other surfaces are available to meet particular needs, such as magnesium, metal and fibercement siding. With Polyurethane, there are no delamination issues. Designing with Greenix SIPs result in a building system that not only offers tremendous development capabilities, but is more energy efficient and stronger than traditional framing systems (i.e., stud framing with common fiberglass insulation). The choice of using Greenix SIPs in the design and construction of a building project brings several benefits, such as building simplicity, quality, speed of assembly, and reduced maintenance. To assist in the familiarization of the SIP product, we have written a complimentary Continuing Ed AIA Accredited Course that will not only provide CE credits, but allows you to walk away with a better understanding of working with this versatile building component. |
